Sea Girt Beach Summer Volleyball Camp Coaches Needed

Requirements

Candidate must be an active volleyball player on a College, HS or Club team.

Candidate must have excellent communications skills and be able to effectively demonstrate basic foundational skills of setting, serving, passing and receiving to pre teen and teenage boys and girls.

Candidate must attend and complete (paid) USYVL training.

Candidate must be available from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm Monday thru Thursday July 22 thru Aug 15.

Candidate must be 16 years of age

Operating structure

SGVB is managed by SG Recreation  All SG VB coaches report directly to the SBVB Director who is managed by Mark Leddy Sea Girt Borough Recreation Commissioner.

SGVB For more than ten years Sea Girt Volleyball Camp has introduced and trained hundreds of local resident children and grandchildren to the game of beach volleyball. Thanks to the efforts of a staff of United States Youth Volleyball Association trained coaches and assistants, graduates of Sea Girt Volleyball camp have gone on to enjoy great success on and off the volleyball court at the high school and college level. Many past campers have also come back to take on the roll of a summer coach at the camp as well.

As volleyball continues to emerge as one of the fastest growing sports in the world so too will the camp’s  focus grow to include more and more age groups of new players.

Our operating motto of “Serve, Set, Spike and  Smile”  continues to be our camp’s guiding mission.
