Taxation
The Borough of Sea Girt's tax bills are sent to property owners each year during the month of June. Tax payments are due on a quarterly basis on the first day of February, May, August, and November.
A 10-calendar day grace period and interest accrual on late payments applies for each tax quarter.

We will be conducting annual inspections in Sea Girt and continuing over the next few weeks.The Borough of Sea Girt is under contract with Realty Data Systems (RDS) to inspect a designated portion of all properties located in the Borough each year.These inspections enable the Borough to maintain accurate property records used to complete annual reassessments, which are a critical component in the fair distribution of taxes.

- Tax payments can be made in person or mailed to the Tax Collector's office located at Borough Hall.
- Please note that all payments received after 3:00 pm will be posted the next business day.
- All questions pertaining to tax bills should be directed to the Tax Collector's Department at (732) 449-9433 ext.117.
- The Tax Collector's Office is open Wednesday's between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm. [email protected]
- Any questions regarding property assessments must be addressed with the Tax Assessor, Scott Kineavy at (732) 449-9433 ext. 119.
