Emergency Management Update 3:00pm 2/22/2026

The Borough's Emergency Services are actively monitoring and tracking a major winter storm and nor'easter forecasted to affect our area with significant snow and wind Sunday into Monday.  The storm track is still uncertain however models are showing with increased confidence that we have the opportunity to receive upwards of 12-30” of snow and likely drifting snow from wind.  The storm may start as rain/wet snow and change to all snow later Sunday evening into Monday. A blizzard warning is in effect beginning Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.  Winds are expected to be 40-60mph during the height of the storm overnight.  Moderate coastal flooding is expected overnight Sunday into Monday.
